Melissa Raker founded The Acrewmont Group after years of experience in construction, human resources, workforce development, and project management. As a veteran and business professional, she recognized a growing need for stronger communication between employers and job seekers, helping both sides align expectations and achieve long-term success.
Throughout her career, Melissa has worked alongside skilled trades professionals, contractors, project teams, and business leaders, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges employers face when searching for qualified talent and the obstacles candidates encounter when pursuing meaningful career opportunities.
Melissa is particularly passionate about helping veterans transition into civilian careers by translating military experience into language employers can understand.
